Community Involvement

Every year, NavPoint participates in and hosts a number of events with the objective of supporting local charities and community services organisations in their local endeavours. We recognize these organisations enhance our community and the lives of our neighbours, and we are proud to support them in making a positive impact on our city.

Here are some of the causes we are proud to support:

The Ottawa Hospital Foundation (OHF) President’s Breakfast

Each year, NavPoint hosts a table at the President’s Breakfast that provides The Ottawa Hospital Foundation with crucial funding to support leading-edge research, purchasing state-of-the-art equipment and putting cutting-edge operating tools in the hands of surgeons to improve patient care and save lives.

NavPoint’s Annual Silent Auction

Every November, NavPoint hosts its annual Silent Auction. This charity drive brings together our social network to reflect on the year and to bid on amazing items that are kindly donated by our friends and families. In the past, we have raised funds for the Ottawa Hospital Foundation and CBC’s Project Give, in support of the Ottawa Food Bank.

Cumberland Panthers Football Club

NavPoint is a proud sponsor of the Cumberland Panthers Football Club Tykes team. Our contributions toward equipment purchases and field rentals are enabling youth to be physically active and learn valuable life skills such as leadership, teamwork, discipline, and respect.

Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada

Since 2017, NavPoint has helped raise funds to support the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada. In 2018, one of NavPoint’s partners began a charitable bike ride across Canada to increase awareness of this foundation and to raise funds.
